It is Tuesday, and that can only mean that I'm posting a trivia question rather than taking the time to actually write anything. Tonight's category is Star Wars minutiae (Herge, you'd best be paying attention).
The two-part Star Wars question: In the first Star Wars movie, which logically, of course, is Episode IV, Han Solo and Luke pretend to be Stormtroopers transferring Chewbacca from what cell block and what importance does that cell block have?
Follow the rules and win the right to brag.
Update: Congratulations to Herge who knew that Han and Luke were transferring Chewie from cell block 1138, a reference to THX-1138 the first film by George Lucas. With his new bragging rights, he should go from being an Angry Chimp to a Peaceful Primate.
Until later...

1138 - this is the same number as the title of Lucas's first film THX1138, and the licence plate number on the car Harrison Ford drives in his second movie American Graffiti.
Bingo.
This number has been used a lot recently, so much so that I'm not sure it's even a homage to Lucas anymore. Kind of like the "2GAT123" license plate that keeps getting reused or the "555-" telephone prefix, people might just be saying, "Hey, you need a four-digit number? Try 1138."
For instance (if we eliminate the Spielberg and Lucas uses), it's also used in Ocean's Eleven, Sky Captain(... et al), Sneakers (which I and about 4 other people loved back in the early 90's), and Swingers. And even David Mamet got his shot in with House of Games. Go figure.
I wasn't aware of all of these references. (I was aware of the multiple uses of the same plate number.)
However, you may count me in as one of those "4 other people".
